December 2004
Thursday 2nd
Today saw the launch of the Photographic
Archive on the
web, and also that of our 2005 Calendar, at Leith Library in Edinburgh.
It was a very successful and well attended day. A buffet lunch was served
first, allowing everyone to relax and settle in.Then Miles Tubb and Eoin
Houston gave a short presentation, showing the live archive projected
onto a large screen. Miles thanked Eoin Houston for his hard work on
the conversion of the archive to the Web. He also thanked Catriona Anderson
for the great job she did in designing our 2005 Calendar.

After this the crowd descended on to the computer suite in the
library where they were able to experience the archive for themselves.
We had many very favourable comments about the archive.
It was great to see so many people that we have worked with over the
past few years. Thanks to all who came along. Thanks also to Grace's
Home Catering who provided a great spread as usual and many thanks to
The Leith Library staff who provided a perfect venue for the event.
Oh yes, and we sold lots of calendars too!
Below is the invitation which was sent out for the event.
