The following new installer should work for installing Cosmo Player in Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, and SeaMonkey instead of using the original Cosmo Player installer available above, however, it was never thoroughly tested. The new installer does not work with Safari for Windows or Google Chrome. ( However the old installer does work for Google Chrome and can be downloaded here. )

Before running the new installer, usually any VRML plugins that are already installed should be uninstalled.

1. Start to install Cosmo by clicking here.
   
   
2. If your browser pops up a warning like the following image
   
   
   
   click on the warning and choose to allow the file download.
   
   
3. Click run in the download prompt..
   
   
4. Click run in the security prompt.
   
        
   
   
5. Then select which web browsers to install the Cosmo Player VRML plugin into.

   

6. Usually the web browser needs to be restarted to recognize the plugin.
   
   
7. Use the VRML Plugin Detector here to check if the plugin has been properly installed.
